- Record using comprehensive species lists free with AditSite (over 60 lists, 150,000+ species, to date)
e.g. birds, insects, wild flowers, mammals, lace wings, spiders, RSPB bird list,
butterflies and moths, mosses/liverworts/lichens, molluscs, galls, dragonflies,
BSBI complete, mycology, reptiles, amphibians, NBN complete, coloeptera etc.

- AditSite comes preloaded with over 150,000 species
- The different species lists included on AditSite reflect the huge range of interests of our users
- AditSite also provides the tools to allow you to make changes and additions to any list
- Or you can build your own lists for personal use or to share with others
- Some AditSite recorders maintain master lists that run to over 100,000 entries (and databases with several million records)
- Working with long species lists calls for the flexibility and responsiveness of AditSite software to ensure easy and accurate usage
- AditSite's simple point and click interface, combined with the instant search facility, ensures that species are identified, selected and entered with the absolute minimum of effort - click the species, click the map and your record can be safely recorded
- Of course, you can add a lot more to your records but AditSite gives you the option of doing things simply and only using the sophisticated features when you need them

- Lists compiled by AditSite users
- Lists provided by third parties - usually 'parent' organisations for recording schemes
Please note, all species lists are copyright-free for private use.
However, you must contact the owner (e.g. Adit, AditSite user, DMAP, Ordnance Survey, MultiMap, English Nature, NBN etc) if you wish to use these species lists commercially.
