AditTrec has been at the forefront of handheld ecological and wildlife recording, with the first version being available as early as 2001
Solve all your problems in one go - use AditTrec Recorder in the field and integrate with Recorder back in the office
AditTrec Recorder uses column headings that Recorder 'recognises', so even your first import will be simple
Build master species lists on your desktop PC from subsets of existing Recorder lists
Create different lists for different purposes, e.g. general recording, survey work
Select recorder /observer names from Recorder
Select sites from Recorder and any maps associated with the sites
Download all this selected data (Species, Sites, Recorders) to AditTrec on your handheld
Once you have completed your day in the field, upload sightings from AditTrec to your desktop PC, and import the data into a holding area in the AditTrec database
Export data from the holding area to Recorder using a spreadsheet or CSV format
'Recorder' (developed by JNCC) is an alternative desktop recording package to AditSite
